I have found a dial marked with 1560 with date capability. I'm trying to match it with a specific model. How many Rolex model used the 1560 movement?
The 1560/1570 movements were based on the 1530 which was introduced (around) 1957, and continued until (around) 1964. It was available in 17 or 26 Jewels, and operated at 18,000 BPH (Beats per hour). The 1560 was introduced (around) 1965, and continued until (around) 1967--it was 26 Jewels/18,000 BPH. The Rolex 1560 and 1570 Movements.
