My rolex is losing 3 seconds a day :( should I take it to be regulated? (It's a one year old ceramic submariner worn 24 hours a day) Try removing the watch at night and letting dial face up while you sleep. Typically watches gain with dial up and lose time on wrist and crown down. When tested, I believe it is +-2 across all positions. So if you lose 4 in 24hr on wrist and gain +2 dial up, it is within spec. Posts: 761. I would lose exactly 1 hr on the hr hand overnight (24hr hand and minute hand never an issue, always correct) - occurred probably every couple of weeks, If I set the time manually, may not occur for 3-4 weeks.
Now just over a month later it’s losing time again. Tried winding and synchronising with a clock on my phone and monitoring for a week.
