I don't have a photo, but I've tried a 39mm Explorer on my 6.5" flat wrist. It was too big. I have had several 36mm watches, including Rolex, and they were perfect.

I know the BB36 (without the dive bezel) wears slightly smaller than .The 214270 has a larger dial that is about the same size as the bezel of the 16570. For the average wrist, the 36mm is the better way to go. But if you're tall or have a >7" wrist, go with .6.5" wrist here. Never warmed up to the 39mm Exp. I personally just think it looks too small on my wrist. Just my preference. I know its current sizing, but to my jaded eyes, 36mm looks dated.
