One thing that always annoys me with the Rolex non-fliplock clasps is how loose they tend to come from the factory. I've encountered this with both rep and gen, and here is a quick 1 minute fix that works with both. 1) Open the clasp up to reveal the hinged clasp blades as depicted in the image below. I would say open it up and check piece by piece to see what is sticking or not seating properly. When open, will the skinny blade part of the clasp blade, that is attached to the clasp itself, sit flush against the clasp and bracelet? If not, you should be able to see what is stopping it.
